Chapter 4 on Saturday, June 12, 2010
, 2:19 AM[Brooke's POV]
"Strike! Beat that assholes!" It was a normal day after school , we felt really bored. So we decided to go bowling. I was winning, but 5 more points and Leo would catch up with me. Damn it. Cheryl was up next. She never bowled before. So she's like waaaaaaaay far behind. Zack sniggered and went onto the lane to help her bowl. I casually glanced over to Jessica. She practically had smoke coming out of her ears. I nudged Leo and nodded towards Jessica. He burst out laughing. Everybody looked at us quizzically. "Oh , Brooke here, just told me a really really funny joke. Pshhpshhh , go back to your conversation. Don't look at me. I'll get shy." Leo said. I shoved him playfully on the shoulder.
After many rounds and many pathetic plays from Jessica , we left and went for some dinner. We ended eating at Macs. Selena and I went to buy the food while the others waited outside. We ended up eating at a deserted carpark nearby Macs. We made ourselves comfortable on the ground while Cheryl passed the food around. I was chewing on my burger when I felt something hit my head. I looked up and glanced around. My eyes settled on Ezra who was sniggering with Hunter. Ohh , so that's how they wanna play it eh. I picked up a fry and dipped it in some ketchup and threw it. It hit Ezra directly on the cheek. He looked up and saw me laughing. He picked up a fry and swiped it across his cheek , he then threw the fry in his mouth. I burst out laughing and Selena looked at me like I was mad. I whispered to Selena in her ear. At that point of time , Ezra took a fry and threw it at me. I dodged it in time and it hit Selena instead.
"HEY! I didn't do nothing to you!" Selena shouted. She picked up a fry and threw it at Hunter. Hunter hit it away with his palm and it hit Derek.
"Hey! Who did that ?!" Hunter pointed at me with a smirk.
"Hey! It's your lucky day. The patty tastes off. I was just about to throw this burger away , but I know I can put it to good use." Selena's face turned white and she sprung up and started running. At that moment , Derek sprung up and ran with a half eaten cheeseburger in his hand. I looked at them and laughed. When I turned back , everyone was throwing food around. A half eaten fish burger just missed my face by an inch. Zack looked at me with a shocked face. Oh , he's dead. I picked up the burger on the ground and threw it back at him. It hit him right in the face. "YES!"
I looked around for Selena while everyone was still getting food in thrown in their faces. She was still running and Derek was running after her with a burger in his hand. The scenario was epic. I think Derek got tired cause he threw the burger just as Selena was running towards us. She was running backwards , and she dodged it. The burger hit Jessica's back. Selena burst out laughing until she was rolling on the ground. Literally , rolling. Derek burst out laughing too.
I couldn't help but laugh too. I looked at Jessica. She looked really pissed and gave Derek and Selena the finger. Oh , that wasn't good.
[Selena POV]
Oh no she didn't. She really wanted it. The only thing on my mind now was that finger. I looked at the splat of ketchup and cheese on the back of her shirt again. I started laughing again.
"What is your problem , bitch ?"
"Well , I'm not the only one that thinks it's funny. I pointed at Derek who was still laughing like a mad cow.
"You didn't have to laugh!"
"You didn't have to give the finger." I had the urge to stick my toungue out but I didn't. This was serious. I didn't like that finger. Unless it was me giving it to someone else.
"You didn't have to dodge that burger."
"You didn't have to sit there either." I gave her a smirk. She slowly got up.
"You want a piece of me ?"
"Nah. You're not worth having me beat you up." Oh , I wanted this fight to happen. I didn't care if I got grounded or suspended.
"Whoawhoawhoa , what's going on ?" Zack was walking towards Jessica.
"Zackieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! She wants to beat me up!" Jessica starts fake crying and hugs Zack.
"Oh please."I heard Derek mutter from behind me.
"Selena , what is your problem ?!" Zack shouted while comforting Jessica who gave me a smirk.
"Hey. Didn't you hear our conversation? She wanted to beat me up first."
"I don't care. If you got a problem with her you got a problem with me."
"Bring it. I ain't afraid of a pretty boy." Zack's eyes opened bigger and he stalked towards me as he cracked his knuckles.
"Whoawhoa. Heyhey. This isn't supposed to end up in a fight." I looked and saw Derek standing in the middle. "Chillax guys. It's just a food fight. No need to get so worked up about it."
"I don't care , move out of the way Derek."
"No man. You're not gonna hurt this girl." Oh my goshers. Derek was standing up for me. But I didn't need him right now.
"Derek , get lost. Seriously." He moved away reluctantly and Zack punched my eye. It throbbed and hurt a little bit. I couldn't just stand here and let a dick bag punch me. He punched me again. I caught his fist and pushed it back. I grabbed his wrist , dug in nails in , thank god I didn't clip those ytd , twisted it , and kicked him in the stomach. He fell to the ground and grabbed my foot and pulled it. I lost balance and fell. I hit my head hard. Oh , that's it man.
I used my left hand to hold my head while I got up. Zack was clutching his stomach. He lunged towards me again. He punched my other eye before I reacted. I punched his nose and shoved him in the chest. He pushed my shoulders. We started shoving each other. He was about to kick me when Hunter and Ezra pulled him back. He kept struggling. I lunged towards him when Derek and Brooke pulled me back. We started shouting vulgarities at each other instead.
I managed to free myself from Derek and Brooke's grasp. I grabbed my bag and left. "I'm not gonna waste my time on faggots like you." I passed Jessica and gave her a shove. Nobody was gonna like me after this , I'm sure.
